Specialising in Early Music, Emily’s leads a varied freelance career singing in choirs, consort groups and as a soloist around the UK and abroad. Graduating from the Guildhall School of Music with Distinction, studying with Marie Vassiliou, Liz Marcus and Mhairi Lawson, she is a regular soprano at the Church of All Saints Margaret Street and the founder of early music ensemble, Ceruleo.
She is a member of the Handel House Talent Young Artists Scheme 2016/17 and sings with groups such as Britten Sinfonia Voices, Platinum Consort and Dowland Works. She is a member of a cappella group Apollo5, with whom she performs and runs schools workshops around the UK and in France.
Emily can also be found on the operatic stage, most recently in the role of ‘Second Woman’ in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and ‘Wall’ in John Lampe’s Pyramus and Thisbe at the Dartington International Summer School. She has performed Bach’s ‘Jauchzet Gott in Allen Landen’ with the Academy of Ancient Music and Guildhall School in Deal Festival.
Emily has appeared in masterclasses with Dame Emma Kirkby, Carolyn Sampson, Richard Egarr and Sir Edward Higginbottom and won a scholarship to participate in the Kochberg Castle Baroque Opera Course 2016.
